This festival will consist of a variety of Paralympic events such as Badminton / Boccia / Goal ball and more.
Mixed teams of 10 pupils from Year 6. This Festival is for those with SEND and/or with a Physical disability (lower or upper limb disfigurement/prosthetic limbs), and a classmate(s) who would be keen to try different sports as a way of re-engaging in physical activity. It is aimed to promote, not just the Tokyo Olympics, but the Paralympics which will start in late August in the Summer holidays. I will be promoting a larger event for September, so this is just a taster.
Schools will rotate around the different activities within their school bubbles and have separate equipment. If each school cannot bring their own blond folds, and short badminton racquets, please let Heather know when you reply to accept.
