COMPETITION SET UP & RULES:
The easiest way to run this competition is with a whole class during PE or an enrichment activity, however it can be completed at lunchtimes. The children will have to take on some leadership roles during the competition as they need to keep count at each station, so they will act as an official counting and recording the scores and ensuring their team does not cheat!
THE STATIONS:

RULES:
- Teams to compete in individual year groups – so either year 3 or year 4.
- Teams should comprise of 5 or 6 children – there is no specific gender mix. (If you are completing the competition with a whole class you are likely to have 5 or 6 teams participating)
- Each team should have a scoresheet and an allocated official for each station or each round.
- Teams complete each station twice for 2 minutes and record the score. The best score from 4 stations (Sticky Wicket, Ball Boy Challenge, Rugby Passes and Happy hurdles) will be added up to make a team total.
- Please encourage the children to demonstrate the School Games Values whilst competing, especially HONESTY & TEAMWORK
- If possible try and allocate other leadership roles to the pupils (Activity Organiser, Official, Motivator)
HOW TO ENTER YOUR RESULTS
Once the class / group of children have has completing the competition, collect in their team sheets ensuring they have added up the scores correctly and that they look realistic. Complete the class overall score sheet and input the results via this link
KSSP do not need to see the class scoresheets however we would ask that you pass them onto your PE Lead to keep for evidence.
