The PE Apprentices had another busy day yesterday.  In the morning they refereed and organised the first ever match between Queensbury School and Spring Hill at Power League in Aston.  The match was extremely competitive, with Queensbury running out the winners in a narrow victory.  We are looking forward to working more closely with both schools in the future.

In the afternoon, the PE Apprentices officiated at the year 5/6 Hockey competition, hosted at Erdington Academy.  29 schools took part and the event ran very smoothly due to the high standard of umpiring.  All the Apprentices have now achieved their Quicksticks England Hockey qualification as a result of last night.  Congratulations to all of the Apprentices for a great day!
