Tuesday night saw the second year 1 mutli-skill event of the week which was hosted by Erdington Academy. 20 young leaders from the school superbly ran the competition for 8 local primary schools within the partnership. As always, this was a very tightly contested event and all the pupils competed with commitment and determination. With the top three schools going through to the finals on 6th February, every point mattered. After two rounds of activities the final scores were extremely close. Walmley Infants produced a fantastic display to come in third place with Sladefield A piping them to second place. Our winners on the night were Birches Green Infants with a tremendously high score over 300 points. They will all now join Paget, Great Barr and Holland House in the final. Many thanks to all the young leaders for running the event as well as the parents, teachers and carers of the pupils for all their support.
