Wednesday night saw the second year 1/2 sports hall athletics competition at Stockland Green. 6 schools competed for a place in the final on 14th March. Children took part in 5 field events; chest push, target throw, javelin, speed bounce and standing long jump. Their scores went through to the next round of the event where pupils competed in a range of track events. As the scores rolled in we had yet another very close event with Marsh Hill in second place and Featherstone just pipping them to the win. Both schools now move forward to the final on 14th March. This was the first event of the year so far where all teams have brought their school games flags! The event was officiated by the superb sports leaders form Stockland Green.
