Monday night saw the first year 1 multi-skill competition which took place at St. Edmund Campion. 120 pupils took part from across our partnership schools, making this one of our biggest multi-skills events ever. All the pupils showed great commitment and effort and the final scores were incredibly close. Pupils had to complete two circuits of a variety of activities, demonstrating accuracy, power and agility. As the scores were totted up, it was clear that the final scores would be very close. Holland House A team came in third place with a creditable performance. After several re-counts, there was only one point between Great Barr Primary in second place and Paget who were declared the winners. It was fantastic to see so many parents, carers and supporters at the event encouraging the children. A big thanks you to the sports leaders from St. Edmund Campion who ran the competition smoothly and helped all the participants during the event. The top three teams will now progress through to the multi-skills final on 6th February at Erdington Academy.
