Wednesday night saw the first year 3/4 dodgeball competition take place at Erdington Academy. 16 schools took part in a highly competitive event with some great commitment shown by all involved. At the quarter final stage, four schools made it through to the next stage; Abbey, Timberley, St. Mary and St. John and Town Primary School. Timberely and Abbey made the final with Town and St. Mary and St. John competing for 3rd and 4th places. After a very tense game, Timberely eventually ended up as winners with the Abbey in second place. In the other game, Town pipped St. Mary and St. John’s to 3rd place. All 4 teams have now qualified for the final on 1st March.
