Wednesday night saw the final of the year 5/6 basketball competition at Stockland Green for those schools who had qualified through the earlier cluster competitions.  Five schools took part and the standard of basketball from all the pupils was outstanding.  Young leaders from Stockland Green scored the games, whilst Birmingham Mets and representatives from the Midlands Basketball, James and Kim took control of the other court.  In a very closely contested final, Timberley eventually won by a single point from Marsh Hill in second place and St. Wilfrid’s in third.  Congratulations to all those pupils who took part and many thanks to Stockland Green for hosting the competition and to the staff, parents and carers who came along to support.  Timberley now progress on to the Level 3 Birmingham school games.
