Thursday night saw the last Year 1 Multi-skills event take place at Timberely Primary school. After a busy week for the year 1 pupils in the partnership, this was the last chance to qualify for the level 2 final on 6th February. As always, the pupils who took part did themselves and their schools proud. Some fantastic skills were on display for all the teachers, parents and carers to see. Many thanks to them for giving up their time to come and support the children as well as the PE Apprentices who recorded all the scores and helped run the event. After 2 rounds of intense competition, Brownmead B team finished in 4th place, with their A team totaling enough points to finish 3rd. It was extremely close between 1st and second place, with the pupils from Lyndon Green finishing 2nd and Timberley winning the competition in 1st place. They now go through to the final at Erdington Academy.
