Over the course of the summer term, School Games organisers across Birmingham will be running 4 themed weeks to support your school and young people.
The resources are designed to engage new audiences, to encourage better mental health and wellbeing and to help get children up and active as often as possible.
This summer term, we have Wellbeing week (26th April – 3rd May), Nature week (17th – 24th May), Commonwealth Games week (7th – 11th June) , finishing with National School Sports week (21st June – 2nd July).
We encourage you to use the resources and activities in the best way for your school.  You can pick and choose which and how many activities you want to join in with to encourage as many children to take part in.  There are certificates and prizes to be won.
We are looking to you to tweet what you join in with and enjoy the most @KSSPSGO #backtoschoolgames, @KingsburySSP #backtoschoolgames
There will be a questionnaire attached at the end of each theme, to gather information about what worked well and to give each school data to use to go towards their 60 Active Minutes and any Level 1 and Level 2 competitions for their School Games Dashboard.
Any extra information or support required, please email Heather Crump – schoolgamesmanager@ksspcic.co.uk, or call 07715 217728.
Have fun and good luck !
