We run a unique apprenticeship programme in partnership with our training provider Sporting Futures Training Ltd. Our scheme will be different to other providers, as it focuses on key professional development for the apprentices that has a direct impact on schools sports premium key indicators and school games mark.
The apprentices are allocated to a primary school for a 12-month period to gain their level 2 apprenticeships. Their main role is to support Physical Education lessons and support the wider delivery of sport & physical activity.
There will be an option to continue to level 3 the following year, if the school wishes to keep them. The apprentices will work 4 days in school and will be released 1 day for additional training and college work.
