Kingsbury School Sports Partnership have designed the virtual clubs to try and provide physical activity opportunities for children at home whilst many schools are operating reduced after school time tables due to Covid-19. Parents / Guardians must always ensure your children are working in a safe space and performing the activities carefully. Where possible we have tried to design most the activities so they are suitable to be performed inside or outside but we may stipulate that some must be done outside. We would advise that parents / guardians support their children during the club (especially EYFS & KS 1 clubs) as this will help with motivation and keep them engaged. You can also press the pause button when needed or pass the water bottle! Parents please ensure you read our legal disclaimer before your child participates in any activities.
EYFS Fundamentals – This club is designed for children aged 3-5 years old. The club will focus on fun activities which will help develop body management skills (eg balancing), locomotor skills (eg skipping) and object control skills (eg throwing)
EYFS ‘Zip Active’ – This club is aimed at nursery & reception children and will follow exciting themes each week such as the Under Water Explorer and Space. Children will participate in fun, imaginative activities that will help develop their fundamental movement skills.
KS 1 Athletics – This club is designed for children aged 5-7 years old. The club will focus on fun activities to develop the 3 main elements of athletics – running, jumping and throwing.
KS 1 Gymnastics – This club is designed for children aged 5-7 years old. This club will focus on developing basic gymnastic skills that can be done at home. The sessions will focus on gymnastics travelling, shapes, jumps, balances and even some simple rolls. We will then be able to create simple sequences with the skills we have learned over the weeks.
KS 1 Football – This club is designed for children aged 5-7 years old. This clubs will focus on basic football techniques.
KS 1 Yoga – This club is designed for children aged 5-7 years old. This club utilises cosmic yoga sessions on youtube. We will provide different links each week for the children to try. The sessions are based on stories and film characters to engage the children. Yoga is a great activity to improve flexibility and help children relax and destress.
KS 2 Cheerleading – This club is designed for children aged 8-11 years old. This club will focus on learning cheerleading arm movements and drills. We will look at ways we can link these arm movements together with jumps/balances etc to create sequences/routines. We will develop our creativity and rhythm as we move in time with the music.
KS 2 Football – This club is designed for children aged 8-11 years old. This clubs will focus on basic football techniques.
KS 2 Yoga – This club is designed for children aged 8-11 years old. The club will focus on improving balance, flexibility, strength and resilience through creative and energetic sequences.
KS 2 Athletics – This club is designed for children aged 8-11 years old. The club will focus on fun activities to further develop the 3 main elements of athletics (running, jumping and throwing), building on skills learnt in PE.
‘Zip Active’ – This club is aimed at Nursery & Reception children and will follow exciting themes each week such as the Under Water Explorer and Space. Children will participate in fun, imaginative activities that will help develop their fundamental movement skills.

This club is designed for children aged 5-7 years old. This club will focus on developing basic gymnastic skills that can be done at home. Yoga – The sessions are designed for children aged 8-11 years old. They will focus on improving balance, flexibility, strength and resilience through creative and energetic sequences.
This is a 30 minute Bhangra dance / fitness session. It is suitable for KS1 & KS 2 children. It is a great way to provide a fun, cultural, active session away from the online learning!
